Ice Hotels

A winter hotel is cut from snow and river ice, stands for a few months and then runs off into the ground. Nothing about it is permanent, so every figure below describes a building that will be raised again from scratch before the next cold season.

Each winter the walls take a different plan, so returning visitors find a different building. Alongside it the operator keeps a year-round snow and ice hall, which holds cold interiors long after the outdoor structure has gone.

This site is independent and for reference. Readings are taken from open sources and can change without notice. Winter buildings stand only in the cold months and are put up again from nothing each year. The site is tied to no hotel, sells nothing and holds no reservations; confirm everything with the house itself.
